Eligibility
- The candidate must be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program with at least, three years of professional experience.
- Your expected graduation date must fall after December 1st, 2022.
Additionally, International Finance Corporation (IFC) hires global interns for a minimum period of four weeks. That is, between the month of May down to September. So that they can work discreetly on projects in Washington D.C or in any country or IFC has a station.
However, you can virtually participate in most of the open opportunities.
Operational assignments cover various areas of work like:

The World Bank Group which is the largest youth worldwide annual gathering has an opening for young people that are solution providers that can bring a fresh idea to the game socially, economically, and environmentally.
More so, the youth summit is an annual event that the World Bank Group hosts to engage with youths from across the globe. The topics that are always discussed are pressing issues facing the generation.

Therefore, the 2022 World Bank Global Youths Summit Competition seeks proposals from youths that have innovation and action-oriented solutions and projects to contribute to ‘Unlocking the power of Inclusion for Equitable Growth’, with activities and engagements in different regions and at the World Bank Group headquarters in Washington D.C.
Eligibility
- You must be from 18-35 years old
- Maximum of 4 persons in a team (if you must have a team)
- Either students or working class of any field can participate
- Previous experience is not necessary
- Balanced or diverse gender in a team is encouraged

Step 2
Submit your application here: https://wbgyouthsummit.wufoo.com/forms/competition-submission-for-wbg-youth-summit-2022/ before March 4th, 2022. Applications and pitch decks will be evaluated by an expert committee. Candidates that pass this state will be announced by April so they can go ahead to the next stage.
Step 3
Refine your ideas and get your pitch, perfect. If you scale through, you will be given a chance to submit further documents.
Step 4
Pitch your ideas at the youth summit come May.
Finalists will join the 2022 WBG Youth Summit at World Bank’s headquarters in Washington D.C.
In addition, travel expenses will be covered, including lodging for up to three nights. However, this is for one representative of each team. The other team members will have to make do and participate via the virtual platform.
Remember, the World Bank Group will adhere strictly to the COVID-19 travel rules.
